If you know me, you know that I am very passionate about women in sports. Today, I had a big smile on my face as history was made for women in the NFL. For the first time ever, we saw both teams in a matchup (in this case, the Washington Football Team and the Cleveland Browns) with female coaches and a female official. Wow, just wow. Frankly, I am so excited to see this that I am speechless.

The women who are in the picture above are:

- Jennifer King, Full-year coaching intern

- Sarah Thomas, NFL Referee

- Callie Brownson, Chief of Staff

Jennifer King has been working in the NFL since 2018 working with the Carolina Panthers and now the Washington Football team. King is also a former player herself.

Sarah Thomas has been making a name for herself in the NFL since 2015 being one of the first female referees in the NFL. She also became the first woman to officiate a playoff game.

Callie Brownson was hired by the Cleveland Browns just this year. She has coached since 2017 and played football herself for 7 years.

I am so excited to see these women continue to crush it in the NFL and for them to pave the way for more women to continue to break barriers in sports.
